Before putting into operation, install the recommended model and value grease in the reducer. The reducer is lubricated with lubricating oil. For the vertical mounted reducer, because the lubricating oil may not guarantee the reliable lubrication of the top bearing, additional lubrication measures shall be adopted.
Before operation, inject proper amount of lubricating oil into the reducer. The reducer is usually equipped with oil filling holes and drain plugs. Therefore, the installation position must be specified when ordering the reducer.
The working oil temperature shall not exceed 80 ℃.
The combined gear unit with lifelong lubrication is filled with synthetic oil in the manufacturer. In addition, the reducer is usually supplied without lubricating oil and with oil filling plug and oil drain plug. The number of reducer lubricants listed in this sample is only an estimate. Set the position of oil level plug according to the installation position specified during ordering to ensure the correct oil filling. The oil injection quantity of reducer shall be determined according to different installation methods. If the transmission power exceeds the heat capacity of the reducer, the robot claw must provide external cooling device.
Check and maintain
When the grease is selected according to the bearing load of the traveling reducer, the grease with small penetration should be selected for the heavy load. In addition to the small penetration, the oil film strength and extreme pressure function are also high when working at high pressure. When choosing grease according to the environmental premise, calcium based grease is not easy to dissolve in water, and is suitable for drying and less water environment. When selecting grease according to working temperature, the main indexes shall be drop point, oxidation stability and low temperature function. Drop point can be used to evaluate high temperature function generally. The actual working temperature of bearing shall be lower than 10-20 ℃ of drop point. The service temperature of synthetic grease shall be lower than 20-30 ℃ of drop point.
